I never expected to get a parts car, but after a local couple donated one to our project, we couldn’t say no! After seeing a story about me in the paper, a sweet couple contacted me and offered to let me have a car that was absolutely identical to Carl. The car has been in the woods behind the previous owners’ home since 1986, so you can imagine how dirty this Falcon was! (We even found a carcass of an animal in there!)
After we got it back to the house we spent days pulling the parts off–some for us to keep for Carl and some for us to sell. There are still parts for sale if you’re interested. Check out the highlight reel on my Instagram page to see the parts still for sale. I’ll be deleting parts as they get shipped to the new owners.
